Members of the Huntsville Rotary Club recently spent time at Huntsville’s beloved Safety Town, helping young students learn important real-world safety skills in a fun and engaging environment.
Designed to resemble a small town—complete with streets, homes, and businesses—Safety Town provides an interactive setting where first-grade students can practice bicycle and street safety. The annual field trip gives children a hands-on opportunity to understand how to navigate everyday situations safely.

Rotarians joined in the experience alongside two familiar and friendly faces: Smokey Bear, who shared important lessons about fire safety, and McGruff the Crime Dog, who focused on crime prevention and public safety.
Through their involvement, Huntsville Rotarians helped reinforce vital safety messages while creating a memorable and impactful experience for local students. Their continued commitment to youth education and community well-being reflects Rotary’s dedication to service above self.
